Welcome to "The Best Troop in the Known Universe!" (according to our scouts). We focus on developing our Scouts into young men who live by the Scout Oath and Law, are active and confident in their outdoor skills, and active in our community. We're proud to say our scouts tend to stay with the troop all the way through to their 18th birthdays, and we currently have have 57 Eagle Scouts.
Troop 520, established in 2007, is an active, Scout-led troop with around 60 Scouts and 6 Scout Masters. We normally meet every Monday night at Redmond Presbyterian Church, 7 - 8:30pm, and we have a minimum of two outdoor outings per month. During Covid-19 restrictions, we are still actively meeting weekly online, and running troop outings in small-group formats. We keep our scouts/leaders safe by complying with all covid-19 outdoor recreation protocols.
